General Education Committee Constitution

  1. Purpose

  2. Membership

    投票机构由每个学部选出的一名全职教员组成， 两名由全职教师选举产生的全职教师代表，一门课程 Committee representative, and the GE Director as appropriate.

  3. Duties Of The Chair

  4. Powers Of The Members

    • The Committee is a sub-committee of the Curriculum Committee.

  5. Duties Of The Committee

    为了维护学院的学术诚信，通识教育委员会 carries out the following duties:

    1. 委员会及时了解并促进最佳做法的实施 in GE curriculum development.

    5. 与课程委员会合作，委员会有责任 creating general guidelines for the creation of GE courses; divisions and departments retain the authority to determine exact content of courses.

    10. The Committee reports new action to the Curriculum Committee.

    12. The Committee holds open meetings. The Committee reserves the right to move into closed session as necessary.

  6. Amendments And Appeals
